Illustrations for a book cover for the short story The Rocking Horse Winner by D.H.Lawrence.

Started by drawing rocking horses, then moved on to the boys bright blue eyes, which are mentioned a lot in the story.

I have been making my own felt for a few years, but now i am incorporating it into my university projects.

Book Arts Project

We have been learning how to make all different types of book binding. We have been researching book artists and paper engineers and I am now beginning my final piece, which is a concertina book illustrations a forest. I am also making felt to cover the board to create the books cover.
