I have now decided to create some artwork which can be photocopied and used as part of my collages. I wanted to draw while looking at my primary research and being inspired by the natural world.
Here I have started to draw but feel the work is too controlled:
I then moved on to using a brush pen but this did not create what I was hoping for as I think I was trying too hard which meant that the outcomes were very worried about and this shows in the work.
So I then decided to collect some sticks and draw with a pot of drawing ink. This freed up my work and I think it works so much better as I was not worried about the outcome I was just enjoying the process and I believe it shows in the work:
