I have started to create some background artwork for my final illustrations.
These are created using ripped up tissue paper (as seen in my experimental work) and PVA glue. I have created the pattern by layering the paper as once the PVA is applied, the tissue paper becomes more transparent so we can see the underneath layers.
I have taken my experiments into consideration and used the colours which I believe work well together for my finals here.
I have used canvas blocks as a base for the collages as I also like the texture you can slightly see from using the canvas:
I am pleased with my progress so far and will now start collecting and creating the imagery and artwork to carry on with the collages.
