I am worried that the cut out effect with the white of the
paper still left on to the collages may be taking away from the expressive
nature of the line so I have looked into using Photoshop’s layers to put the
collages together. I have used the magic wand and background eraser tool to get
rid of all of the white of the background to just leave my black ink drawing. I
then adjusted the brightness and contrast to make my drawings back to their
original blackness which they had lost during scanning.
I am very impressed with the work I have done on Photoshop.
I feel it looks quite professional but I am still unsure of whether I prefer
the handmade version or the photo shopped version. So I have stuck them next to
each other to try and compare and I am currently talking to as many people as I
can using my Facebook account to see what the majority prefer and why.
