Advertising Sophie

I have to advertise Sophie to a new employer, boyfriend or flatmate..
Sophie's Blog: http://sophieradyillustration.blogspot.com/
I have done some initial ideas..

Unfinished painting, using Acrylic paint and tissue paper..

My friend Andy helped me by creating a website to show my illustrations of Sophie and her 'likes'...

This is my artwork for this website:

Sophie -

Baking -

Chocolate -

Smoking -

Cleaning -

Dogs -

Vodka & Coke -

Make up -

Hair -

Music -

Painting -

Steak -

XBOX -

Quiet -

The final website design.. with links to the different illustrations. I could not think of a unique selling point for Sophie, but i think she is a different person and her likes show this..

and what the pages look like..

Eric Carle

I am currently writing a essay on Eric Carle and his work for The Very Hungry Caterpillar, and have recently bought The Art of Eric Carle which is a beautiful book... (buy the book here)

In this book it shows a step by step guide of how Eric Carle works and creates his bright, fun images...

Follow Eric Carle's blog - http://www.ericcarleblog.blogspot.com/

Catherine Rayner

I have come across Catherine Rayner's work a couple of times now... but found this book in the library today and had to share, such beautiful work! (sorry about poor quality scanning, her website is linked here)

Trebarwith Strand

My grandparents live in Camelford, Cornwall, right next to a beach we always visit, usually in the wind and rain but this was a nice day.
